Growing Momentum of The Parky Club: Join Us in Our Mission for Awareness and Support

The energy from the recent RunDisney event has sparked something powerful within The Parky Club. Our community is growing stronger, fueled by a shared determination to raise awareness and support for Parkinson’s disease. As someone deeply involved in this journey, I want to share where we stand today, the challenges we face, and how you can help us take the next big step.

The Drive Behind Our Momentum

The Parky Club started as a small group of Parkinson’s warriors, family members, and friends who wanted to create a space for support and education. The recent RunDisney event was a turning point. The energy and enthusiasm from participants and supporters gave us a clear sign: we are not alone, and our mission resonates with many.

This momentum has pushed us to aim higher. We want to become a formal charity at those RunDisney events, which will allow us to expand our reach, secure visibility, and create lasting impact. But this goal requires resources upfront—resources we don’t currently have in full.

Why Becoming a Formal Charity at the race Matters

Becoming a registered charity for RunDisney, is more than a title. It opens doors to a level of visibility and fundraising we had previously only dreamed of. The are difficult races to enter. This would allow fundraising to benefit The Parky Club, securing a larger team to increase our efforts in person. This would be for the 2027 race season.

Right now, we are in the crucial phase of gathering funds to make this happen. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to these goals.

The Challenge of Finding a Physical Location

One of our biggest hurdles is securing a physical space here locally. A dedicated location would serve as a hub for our community—a place where people can come together, share experiences, and access resources. It would also allow us to host workshops, speaker events, and exercise classes tailored for Parkinson’s warriors.

Finding the right space requires funds for rent, utilities, and setup. We want a welcoming, accessible environment that feels like a second home to those who need it most. Your support can help us turn this vision into reality.

Continuing Awareness and Education Efforts

Awareness is the foundation of change. The more people understand Parkinson’s disease, the better equipped they are to support those affected. The Parky Club has been active in organizing events, distributing educational materials, and partnering with healthcare professionals.

We know there have been some technical issues with our donation platform recently. We believe these are resolved, but if you experience any problems, please reach out to us. We want to make giving as easy and secure as possible.

How You Can Help

Our community thrives because of the generosity and passion of people like you. Here are some ways you can support The Parky Club’s mission:

  • Make a donation to help fund our charity registration and physical location

  • Spread the word by sharing our story with friends, family, and colleagues

  • Volunteer your time or skills for upcoming events and outreach programs

  • Attend our events to show support and learn more about Parkinson’s disease

Every action counts. Together, we can build a stronger, more informed community.

A Personal Note

As someone who has witnessed the impact of Parkinson’s firsthand, I know how isolating this journey can feel. The Parky Club has been a beacon of hope for me and many others. The connections we build here provide strength and encouragement every day.

Our goal is to make sure no one faces Parkinson’s alone. With your help, we can expand our reach and deepen our impact. The momentum is real, and it’s growing. Join us in this mission.

Parkinson’s disease is such a difficult condition, and when my husband was diagnosed, it was heartbreaking for our whole family. Watching someone you love face the challenges of Parkinson’s is never easy, and we wanted to find additional support for him.Our family doctor recommended that we look into NaturePath Clinic, so we decided to learn more about their herbal program. From the beginning, we appreciated the care, kindness, and support we received throughout the process.I’m sharing our experience because I know how difficult it can be to find support when someone you love is living with Parkinson’s. Every family’s experience is different, but we are grateful for the encouragement and support NaturePath Clinic has provided to our family. ❤️
